The following instructions for lunch box and thermos care are provided by the Thermos Company (Form No. 05-008-0113):
Lunchbox Care & Use Instructions:
Wipe interior and exterior with damp sponge and mild soap for best results.
Do NOT place in a microwave or any type of oven.
Do NOT wash by submerging entire lunch box in water.
Do NOT wash in an automatic washer.
Do NOT use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine.
Leave lunch box open to air dry.
Thermos Bottle Care & Use Instructions:
Wash bottle and stopper thoroughly after each use with warm, soapy water and rinse with clear, warm water. For drying, use a soft towel or air dry.
Do NOT clean by submerging entire bottle in water.
Do NOT wash in an automatic washer.
Do NOT use in a microwave or any type of oven.
Do NOT use carbonated beverages in the bottle.
Do NOT use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine.
Check stopper periodically; if it is broken or worn, replace it. Leakage of hot liquids may scald. Keep out of children’s reach when bottle contains hot liquids to prevent scalding.
Store with the cup and stopper off for airing.
Dairy or other food products that spoil easily should NOT be kept in the thermos for prolonged periods.
