The Rolling Stones
The premiere "British Invasion" band, The Rolling Stones have gone on to become synonymous with "rock 'n roll". The band were formed in London in 1962 by original leader Brian Jones, but were eventually led by the songwriting partnership of singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. The classic line-ups also have included Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood.
