Tootsie PopThis lunchbox pays tribute to one of the most famous TV commercials of all time. In 1970, Tootsie Roll Industries aired the now-famous spot, when a boy asks Mr. Owl, "How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?" Mr. Owl takes the Tootsie Pop, licks three times, bites off the candy, and answers, "Three." before handing the barren lollipop stick back to the boy. A shorter version of this ad still airs today, making it the longest-running commercial of all time. Front and back feature embossed graphics of the boy in that famous moment, handing the Tootsie Pop to Mr. Owl, along with the classic line "Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take?" Sidebands feature orange stars on a retro turquoise background, along with the number 3. If this doesn't make you think of the days of yore, then nothing will! Lunch box measures about 8" wide, 7" tall, and 4" deep. Shipping Weight: 2 lbs. You may also be interested in |
